Therapy in Cary & Online Across NC

Is life kicking your ass right now?

Let’s find a solution for that…

Come as you are

Leave with what you need.

I work with people who…

Appear capable on the outside but privately battle anxiety that keeps them up at night or depression that makes everyday tasks feel impossible.

Silently struggle with ADHD and executive functioning challenges—like procrastination, forgetfulness, or constantly feeling behind.

Want to feel more confident in themselves, set boundaries with assertiveness, and manage stress that shows up as irritability, exhaustion, or burnout.

Feeling disconnected or unseen in their relationships despite always showing up for others.

Working to rebuild after substance use or seeking clarity for a loved on struggling with addiction.

Imagine a life where you stop “shoulding” yourself, and instead, live a life guided by what you actually want and need.

Hi, I’m Erica.

Therapy with me is direct, real, and actionable. You don’t need to come with a checklist or a perfectly organized story—just bring yourself, exactly as you are. I’ll meet you there. No judgment.

Our work together will be rooted in practicality and purpose. While I bring compassion and empathy to every session, I also bring strategy. This means we’ll take a solution-focused approach when needed—zooming in on what’s not working, why it’s happening, and how we can shift it.

My goal is to help you break down barriers, rewrite outdated narratives, and build the confidence to face whatever life throws your way.

Specializing In…

  • Maybe you're going through the motions: work, family, daily routines, but everything feels heavy and joyless, like you’re dragging yourself through mud.

Maybe your carrying the weight of constant fear and worry, but getting rid of it sounds even more scary.

Instead of following unhelpful thoughts down a rabbit hole, lets pause, challenge those thoughts, and shift to something more balanced and helpful.

It’s not about pretending everything’s fine, it’s about learning how to respond differently when things aren’t fine. And that can change everything.

  • Struggle with procrastination, miss placing your keys (again), keeping your space organized, or calling yourself lazy? That might be executive dysfunction.

As an ADHD Certified Clinical Services Provider we can work to develop practical skills to keep you on track.

  • You might be second-guessing yourself after every conversation, saying yes when you really want to say no, shrinking yourself to “keep the peace”, over-apologizing, or feeling like you’re not “enough” no matter how much you achieve.

Let’s change those thinking patterns that keep you stuck in self-doubt and replace them with thoughts and actions that support confidence, clarity, and self-respect. Gain the tools and language to set boundaries, ask for what you need, and speak up without guilt or apology. You’ll learn that being assertive doesn’t mean being rude, it means respecting yourself and others.

  • Do you end the day with a drink to unwind? Or maybe you struggle to socialize without a gummy? You're not alone — many people develop subtle patterns with substances that start to feel necessary just to get through the day. I help folks understand these patterns and build new ways to cope. Using evidence-based tools, we work together to identify triggers, manage cravings, and create healthier routines.

I also support loved ones in making sense of addiction so they can respond with clarity, compassion, and support — without losing themselves in the process
