Cash Pay & Good Faith Estimate
What is a Good Faith Estimate (GFE)?
A GFE is a document we are required to provide to uninsured or self-pay clients, outlining the expected charges for the services they are requesting.
Why do I need one?
The No Surprises Act, which took effect on January 1, 2022, mandates that these estimates be provided to protect consumers from surprise medical bills.
Our Standard Good Faith Estimate:
$170 (Intake) + $120 (25 sessions) = $3,170
How do I get one?
Let us know as soon as possible. We like to have these completed before your first appointment.
What does it include?
The good faith estimate shows the list of reasonably expected charges for services at the time of its creation. In an abundance of caution, our GFE’s are calculated to include 1 intake appointment and 25 bi-weekly sessions for 1 year.
What is not Included?
Any additional charges for extra sessions, no show fees, late cancel fees, ect.
Do I pay this amount up front?
No, the GFE is not a bill. You will pay for services on the day they will be received and your card on file will be charged the amount for that session only.
