MSW: Master of Social Work
Basically, I went to school to learn about mental health issues, social justice, psychology, and ethics with hands-on experience through internships and fieldwork

LCSW: Licensed Clinical Social Worker
It’s a professional license for social workers who have completed advanced training and clinical experience. To obtain, you have to have 3,000 hours of clinical experience and 100 hours of clinical supervision. You then have to take a state wide licensing exam. Every 2 years the license is renewed by completing continuing eduction in order to stay up to date on cool new information.

LCAS: Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist
Another professional license that requires 500 hours of substance use specific training in graduate school, 2,000 hours of clinical experience, 50 hours of clinical supervision, and passing a state wide licensing exam. Like the LCSW, it requires renewal every 2 years.

ADHD-CCP: ADHD Certified Clinical Services Provider
A certification for folks that are trained in Executive Functioning Coaching which can be vital for managing ADHD.
